Weaving Tools Shep's Rugs

Cast off salvages, new yet unused… not an end… a beginning.
White cotton fabric strips, cut from bolts of fabric, were to be thrown away.
Instead they become the fiber that I space dye to form a new pallet of weft materials.

I hope to carry the folk arts of the past into my expression of today’s handwoven rugs.
Some are graphic, some are almost abstractions of another reality.
I like color, bright and vibrant, designed to add light and form into interior spaces
